Dates	Event	Details
Monday - Tuesday 16-17 January	Women's and Senior's Last Train	Start 10am Monday. Sessions dependent on entries - Entry fee $210 per pair.
Tuesday 17 January	Warm-up Pairs	1 session at 7.30pm. Cash prizes. The entry fee of $20 per pair collected at the table.
Wednesday - Friday 18-20 January	National Women's Teams Championship	9 x 20-Board qualifying sessions - Entry Fee $560 per team. Session time all days: 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm. Finishes 7.00pm Friday. Trophies are awarded for the best Senior, Veteran & Country teams. Semi-Finals (4 teams) on Saturday 10am. Final Sunday 9.00am-11.00am, 11.15am-1.15pm, 1.45pm-3.45pm, 4.00pm-6.00pm. Semi-final & Final - Entry fee is $120 per team per day.
Wednesday - Friday 18-20 January	National Seniors' Teams Championship	9 x 20-Board qualifying sessions - Entry Fee $560 per team. Session time all days: 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm. Finishes 7.00pm Friday. All players must have been born before 1/1/1954. Trophies are awarded for the best Women's, Mixed, Veteran & Country teams. Semi-Finals (4 teams) on Saturday 10am. Final Sunday 9.00am-11.00am, 11.15am-1.15pm, 1.45pm-3.45pm, 4.00pm-6.00pm. Semi-final & Final - Entry fee is $120 per team per day.

Wednesday - Friday 18-20 January	National Non-Life Masters Teams Championship	8 x 20-Board sessions - Entry Fee $500 per team. Wed & Thur 10.00am, 1.30 pm, 4.30pm, Fri 10am & 1.30pm. Finishes 4pm Friday. Each player must not have achieved the rank of Life Master as at 30/9/2011.
Wednesday - Friday 18-20 January	National Novice Teams Championship	8 x 20-Board sessions - Entry fee $500 per team. Wed & Thur 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm, Fri 10.00am & 1.30pm. Finishes 4pm Friday. Categories 0-49, 0-99 & 0-149. All players in a team must have fewer than 50, 100, 150 MPs respectively at 30/9/2011. Grand Slam Members must have a rating under 58%. Matches may pair teams from different categories.
Thursday - Friday 19-20 January	Last Train to Open Playoff	Start 10am Thursday. Sessions dependent on entries - Entry fee $210 per pair.
Saturday - Sunday 21-22 January	Grand National Pairs - National Final	Sessions - Sat and Sun: 9.30am-1.30pm, and 2.30pm-6.30pm.
Saturday - Sunday 21-22 January	National Open Swiss Pairs Championship	11 x 9 board matches. Session time Sat: 11.00am, 2.30pm, Sun: 10.00am, 2.30pm Entry Fee $200 per pair. Category Winners: Open, Seniors, Women, Men, Mixed, Novice, Youth, Country
Saturday - Sunday 21-22 January	National Restricted Swiss Pairs Championship	11 x 9 board matches. Session time Sat: 11.00am, 2.30pm, Sun: 10.00am, 2.30pm Entry Fee $200 per pair. All players must have fewer than 500 MPs at 30/9/2011.
Monday - Thursday 23-26 January	South-West Pacific Teams Championship	12 x 20-Board matches. - Entry Fee $800 per team. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm, Thursday 9.30am, 1.00pm, 4.00pm. (no evening sessions). Finish 6.30pm Thursday. The leading 8 teams at the end of play on Thursday qualify for the National Open Teams event starting at 10.00am on Friday morning. Trophies are awarded for the best Women's, Mixed, Senior, Veteran, Country, Youth and Novice teams that do not qualify for the NOT. The categories winners will be determined by VP score at the end of the SWPT. 1st Qualifying - Highest VP score - Grand Slam Trophy 1st Women - All team members must be female 1st Mixed - Must play as a mixed team in every session - Brian Rawson Trophy 1st Seniors - All team members born before 1/1/1954 - Eva Hardy Trophy 1st Veterans - All team members born before 1/1/1948 1st Country - All team members Australian residents who do not reside in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney 1st Youth - All team members born after 1/1/1986 1st Novice - All team members having fewer than 150 masterpoints as of 30/9/2011
Friday - Sunday 27-29 January	National Open Teams Championship	Entry Fee $120 per team per stage. 8 teams will qualify for the NOT starting Friday morning 27 January. Meeting for Captains to exercise choice after correction/appeal period expiry - approximately 7.30pm on Thursday 26 January. Play commences at 10.00am Friday, Saturday Sunday. Final ends Sunday evening. 1st - Sitmar Trophy 2nd - ABF Trophy 1st ACT - Lew Thomson Trophy (all team members play regularly in the ACT) 1st Zone 7 - New Zealand High Commissioners Trophy (teams comprising only players eligible to represent a Zone 7 NCBO other than Australia)
Friday - Sunday 27-29 January	Blue Ribbon Match-Point Pairs	Stage 1 - Qualifying - 2 sessions Friday. Finishes 6.00pm. Stage 2 - Semi-Final - 2 sessions Saturday. Finishes 6.00pm. Stage 3 - Final - 2 sessions Sunday. Finishes 6.00pm. Entry fee - Stage 1 $50 per pair, Stage 2 and 3 $150 per pair for those that qualify from Stage 1.
Saturday - Sunday 28-29 January	Australian Mixed Teams Championship	10 x 10-board Matches - Entry Fee $320 per team. Session times Saturday 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm; Sunday 10.00am, 1.30pm. At least one member of each gender must play in each match of this event. Finishes 5.00pm Sunday.
Saturday - Sunday 28-29 January	National Flighted Swiss Pairs	9 x 10-board Matches - Entry Fee $150 per pair. Session times Saturday 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm Sunday 10am, 1.30pm. Finishes 4.00pm Sunday.
